Behavior Change

In addition to psychotherapy, I do clinical practice on habit formation and health behavior change. I work with clients on issues related to gaining/extinguishing behaviors such as healthy eating and losing weight and gaining and maintaining regular exercise habits. I also offer individual therapy and couple therapy support regarding psychosocial and relational problems caused by chronic health problems such as polycystic ovary syndrome, obesity, diabetes and cancer. In this line of work, I mainly use motivational interviewing techniques, which is an approach that is motivated by the client and developed based on research evidence.
