Research

My research endeavors are primarily geared towards comprehending the intersectionality of biopsychosocial and contextual health dynamics that influence individuals, families, and the larger systems. As in my clinical work, a pivotal element of my research is the study of intimate relationships and sexual health. My recent research studies have focused on examining the attachment behaviors of couples and individuals, sexual satisfaction in couple relationships, and the effects of obesity and other endocrine diseases on the sexual health of individuals and couples. My current research project aims to investigate the unique needs and challenges of men in psychotherapy.
